All it's running. I figure I will run another flush on that transmission when I fully service it in a couple of months/ Brakes freed up with a great POP. I thanked you before but not enough, Thank you all/ Lugnuts
I will also run another post when I see about "Waterproofing" the truck. Y'all...
Actually I can not answer that question. The Fire Department had 3 standing in a row and they had just received these from Forestry so they grabbed one, Stenciled some numbers on the side, and put it into service. It got chosen because it started.
Please tell me the location of the breather...
Thank you for taking the time to write a long reply. It is much appreciated. I do not intend on using this diesel for anything except starting fires or perhaps cleaning very dirty trucks just prior to pressure washing. Mixes great with Gunk that needs to be cut/ You did make a point for me which...
Ronmar, NDT, and anyone else. I was thinking again about the diesel and salt water/ This time is was sugar and water/ We know the bad things that happen with sugar and water in an engine but that happens due to the heat of the engine or so my thinking goes/ I wonder then if something happens to...
Being rural is good, I happen also to enjoy the pleasure of it. I was thinking along the line of separating water from fuel and burning it in my vehicle/ Fresh water I have no trouble doing that. I've just never had a batch come through that was exposed to salt water. I agree with NDT about...
I want to pursue this matter a bit more but from different perspective. Does anybody know what happens to the salt content of water when mixed with diesel? I know that a mess of y'all are going to say get rid of it, and I don't dispute that but... does the salt stay as a corrosive ingredient...
Well, went to the remote switches and flipped them on and off. Must have been the problem because the starter problem went away/ Onward to the Fuel issue/ Drained the tank completely and primer pumped all left over liquids out/ Wiped out tank with rag/ Put 10 gallons back in/ Primed up to pump...
So after working with it today, I do have power to the cab. The fault was the 24vdc disconnect switch/ I removed it, cleaned all terminals and lugs and connected straight to the Manual On-Off Disconnect Switch/ Did not have to mess with the Polarity Box although I will at a later date!
Now new...
Yes. Had what I would call a severe voltage drop. The work but on the 24vdc side it dropped it 5vdc. The 12vdc side was a 3 volt drop.
Does this system work the same as the A0's perse but on the Master disconnect does it just have manual and then the electric switch by the drivers knee. After...
Hello! I tried searching this and found no content as to the Disconnect Switches for the A1/ I do have wiring diagrams and that is substantial but I am looking for personal touch that you mechanics have had. I know the flaws that go with these units and know that some of you fellows do too...
