They are working fine. I just saw another owner asking the exact same question (same symptoms) on one of the Face Book groups. Must be pretty common, Thank you guys for the help.
Good Afternoon, I wanted to thank you for your response and help with my question about the trans light on my truck. I wasn't ignoring your advice, we were moving and I hadn't sat down in weeks long enough to figure out where those wires were located so I could check them. I am new to the hobby...
Update: I found my meter... I haven't had time to find the two wires 290/291 yet but 687 A and B (the indicator TRANS light wires) are getting 8.7 v all the time making the dimmer light and 11.6v when the run switch is ON for the brighter light. Ideas??
I am still in the process of tracing wires that GP cut with a grinding wheel.
That's better than really bad news I suppose. We just moved from Fl. to Al. , my tools aren't here yet. As soon as I can get my hands on a voltage meter I will respond. My first truck took forever to be released...
I have an 1157 from GP I'm slowly going through and noticed that my Trans light stays on when the switch is OFF. When I switch to RUN, the light gets brighter. Any ideas?
Thanks in Advance!
