    Actually it could not be much worse than anything Detroit turned out in the early 80s, it was all junk.     Is this from actual experience or are you just parroting what others have said? This has not been my experience, also there is nothing inherently undependable about the HMMWV, most issues are from poor maintenance and neglect.
