    I'll hold out a bit longer to see if he replies (sent 2 emails)... I did google search his name and others indicated he was the "go-to" guy for radio stuff, but those were old posts... Thanks for the reply foxmike!

    I sent two emails to surplus@pvtjarhead.com to buy some RT 524 parts and questions about his "display" and nearly complete RT 524 radios and have not received a reply yet... I read that his buddy and RT 524 "expert" passed away recently. Does anyone know what his status is? Thanks for any info.
