    Radiator

Ok now I am really confused. I flipped the fan around when I had the radiator out. (right way?) My truck has been down until today, about a month. When I got my radiator back the upper neck was leaking so I pulled the radiator again and had it re-soldered. When I put it back in the radiator...

    Radiator

Any idea why the fan has a "F" on one side? I would think that means foward but if that is the case then my fan in backwards on the truck.

    Radiator

Well my truck is not the only one with the fan that way. I have a truck that just came out of DRMO that I traded for. SF97 has not even cleared yet. The fan in that truck is the same way. I looked at my parts truck that came from a fire department. The fan is flipped over in it.

    Radiator

May fan is marked with a "F" on one side. Does that me front / foward? If so than the fan is right. I was able to get the other plug out using a heat wrench and pipe wrench. With the return hose on the water pump will the water flow through the filter ok? I was thinking before with the...

I can't get the plug on the water pump out. Is there another option to plumb it back into? I never looked at the fan. I just put it back on the same way I took it off.

One step ahead. I installed a coolant filter when I put the radiator back in the truck. Problem is I could not get the lower plug on the water pump to budge. I was able to get the upper one out and plumbed it back in there. Not sure if it will flow enough water to do any good.

    Radiator

Well I had the radiator rodded out. He said it was 2/3 clogged. Refilled with 5 gallons of anti freeze and 2 pints of stabilizer and distilled water. Went for a 60 mile test run with my foot in it and air temp around 100 to 101. Water temp hit 200 and stayed there for the whole trip. Truck...

    Radiator

I pulled my radiator due to the heat problem. Will have it rodded and cleaned. I noticed that the fluid was green for the most part until the last and it was really rusty. Will the rust settle out over night or is there a flow problem. I have not pulled the stat yet.

    Radiator

OK talking about radiators, what is the operating temp in Texas? I went on a 40 mile trip today and hit 240 and started to overflow. Slowed down and temp came down to 215 / 220. What is the operating temp in Texas in 100 degree weather? What else will cause the temp to rise? Belts are...
