    700R4 Wiring info

I'd rather find a '91 suburban or 1 ton with a 4L80E behind the 6.2L as a donor. I haven't had any luck with having 700R4's being built. But I work my trucks within the factory load limit too.

    700R4 Wiring info

Glad the wiring worked for you. There may be some differences depending on the year, but in my '83 K20 the overall length of the 700/208 was the same as the CUCV TH400/208 that I put in. So I didn't have to change driveshafts (but I also had the donor driveshafts if I ended up needing them)...

If you keep your original driveshafts, the u-joints stay the same ;)

    700R4 Wiring info

When I pulled the 700R4/NP208 and put in the round pattern TH400/NP208 I used the original driveshafts from my truck. They are the same length overall and use the same driveshafts for the same chassis length.

Since your tranny is an early '80s the wiring harness out of my '83 should work.

    700R4 Wiring info

I have a stock 700r4 wiring setup I pulled out of my K20 when I converted to a TH400... Including the IP pump switch that replaces the vacuum switch on the TH400. Pay shipping and you can have it. EDIT: please don't PM me about these parts anymore. They are long gone now.
