    Diesel exhaust color meaning?

    This is what I have been told, white is unburnt fuel, I see that when starting, or cold engine. Black is too much fuel. (and lots of fun) I have some blue smoke at idle on mine, belive it's from running used oil. Never seen brown before. Dennis
