MY 002 had the same problem. The bend is too sharp. I had the hoze from the filter to the check valve and the hoze that leaked, made a inch longer. Then i fliped the check valve 180 degrees and hooked up the hozes that way. The bend isnt sharp now and should last longer.

Looks like you got a rusty gas tank and a rusty air cleaner housing just like me.

Aboonski, good deal on the genset. I just aquired one also and its missing all the ground rod stuff. Could you get some close-ups of the parts and some measurements please? It looks like stuff that could be easly made on the lathe. Thanks Randy
