Yep, I'm the current owner. The relay valve was seized. I replaced that and checked everything out. All good.
The trick is to not hook up air on the recovery.
Since I'm the new owner of this trailer with the "brakes grabbed a little" issue I'll add the solution to the thread.
It definitely needed a new relay valve. The Midland part number is KN30300X and is available from NAPA - NAPA AUTO PARTS
