    I've followed your directions gringeltaube, cleaned it up, and the pics will follow. What I can read on the housing is stamped "643 AY 187 P Z". Under that are two words forged "Stewart or Steward & M(?????)" "Made in U.S.A. Here is what it looks like...

    Can anyone identify the speedometer adapter on my deuce. It's not the standard one that is on most trucks. Need help as I've got to get it squared away for a safety inspection. Here are the pics. Mine is one the left.
