    Broken bolts in blocks, winches etc.

    I had a similar problem a couple of years ago (?!!) and with a set of left handed bits from Will, I was able to clean out the broken bolt. Bottom line, use LH bits at all times for this, starting with 1/8" or so, every turn of the bit applies pressure in correct direction.
