    Verifying actual engine

    What side of the truck is the starter on? LDS would be on the driver's side - don't think it will fit in a deuce that way. The army ran out of replacement LDT's and used LDS's in their place, with the pump settings changed, oil pan reversed, dipstick moved, bellhousing changed, etc...
