I think parts are available from these trucks. I don't know about the logistics of getting them to someone who wants them. Maybe I could go by a list of 'wanted parts' and get availability and price from him.

The loggers have gotten all of the "good" out of them. The owner said that the biggest trouble they had with them was losing low (1st) gear and reverse - that sent them to the boneyard.

Here are some 5 ton tractors that have been "retired". In AL these are called "pull-outs" or "GI's" regardles of whether they are M54, M35, etc. These trucks have been used (used up) in a logging business.........
