    Was this on a Dana 70 or 14FF? My truck has a 3/4 ton 14FF in the rear (replaced the stock 14SF). The front 3/4 ton rotors use a 9/16" stud and so do the rear 3/4 and 1 ton 14FF's. I don't remember what the dually D70 rear axles use off of the top of my head. But if he keeps the 6 lug 10 bolt...

    #1 When I did my disc brake swap there was no slop between the rotor and the stud. The studs have to be pressed into the rotor or they do not fit! #2 The original drum I pulled off of the truck did not have a register to center the drum either.

    You forgot to add the new axle in there... that kit doesn't fit the M1009. If you swap out the rear axle for a 14 FF (good way of getting lower gears for bigger tires anyway), then it is cheap and easy to do. I have tons of pics of my rear 14FF rear disc conversion that cost me about $100 to do...
