    I don't think you have it exactly right. In most States, you get 550#'s / inch of tire. That will apply to your steering axle, times two tires. You get 34,00#'s (in Calif.) for a tandem group - or 550#'s/ tire (times eight), which ever is more conservative. So the way I get it, your good for...
