    You don't have to convert to stick if you didn't want to. You could keep the Th400 in the truck, and leave all the driveline components the same and not have to remove. All you'd need is a plate and flywheel from a early 90's chevy bread truck with a 4B cummins, they run the 4B with a TH 400...
