    Also look for traces of a white-ish powdery residue, at the heads, water pump, hoses, etc. That is the sign of evaporated AF. You should probably do a pressure test, just going by the cap isn't going to tell you if you have a small pressure drop. Is the smell under the hood? I learned many...
