interesting. Years made must make a difference and where its made im sure. I bought all new USA made glad hands and they only fit to the ones meant for it ir red to red blue to blue. Make sure to put some clean oil on the rubber parts before trying to put them together or you will monkey...
right but what i am saying is it seems like my constant air line(red) is not putting out the volume or pressure i would suspect for coming off the air tanks etc because when i open up the in cab valve a crap load of air comes rushing out so i would suspect a similar amount coming out of the red...
yes i fixed both ran new copper lines and all they both now work and function. Blue gets air when brakes are hit and red has air coming all the time.... should the air coming out of the red line be a little to mild psshhh sound or should it be just gushing out of there?
I lifted the trailer off...
so i got mine that are Philips made in usa, so they seem quality. Were i do have a problem is that my trailers is getting air etc etc but i have no brakes! Does anyone have the tm in downloaded format for m105 brakes?
I cant figure out why my brakes arent working on the trailer, some have...
i think that all the a2 model deuces and later have that there don't they?
Does anyone know what the flow and pressure is out of that valve in the cab? Is it safe to run a quick connect air hookup there for tire inflation etc?
my lines are cut off way before it gets to those valves on the frame end. My lines are the copper 3./8 size that are literally just hacked off, but i only have air coming out one side.
for those valves on the frame end, those are all regular pipe thread right?
so yellow/blue is the service which is on the drivers side, which has air only going to it when you step on the brakes, red or emergency is the passenger side or constant air side that always has air going to it?
Is there a valve or shutoff somewhere on the red(passenger side) of the system...
can some one clarify what color is suppose to be on the drivers side for certain, photos tms etc.
Why don't i have air rushing out of my passenger side line that was simply cut off then?
my red valve is on the drivers side of the truck, yellow on opposite. My lines were simply cut off when it was bobbed and i only have air coming out of the drivers side truck line when the brakes are pressed?
so on the truck side of the trailer brake glad hands are they a special thing or just regular old glad hand receptacles? I see they have pipe thread that goes into a through frame fitting and has a shut off valve, so it looks like i only need the glad hand part
