    a lowbed or a flat rack, just let the boom over hang the deck or goose neck, don't think there will be enough clearance between the front of a van and the back of the boom if the boom is swung over the front

    the rear bed mods would not be bad, its the clearence needed to pull the trailer, if you place the 5th wheel where it needs to be, you will be to close to the crane on the 816 and if you place it way to the rear, you will have a rear heavy truck if the trailer has much of a load. tha way the 816...
