PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

I have been trying to talk Danielle into doing just that! Kind of limits the resale value a little though.... And Josh, NO WAY! I would never get all the sand out of it after you had it! lol

Ok, this is for Scott who asked, and a few others who thought they would like to see it. I hooked my 5th wheel up to the 818 again, and took pictures this time. Funny, the trailer doesn't look so big when it's behind that truck! Btw, the trailer is 37' long.

Josh, yes, 5 amp slow blow fuses. Typically listed with a high voltage like that. As for 5 ton tool boxes, you could fit one of those and a 3k generator in that spot. Or two 5 ton tool boxes and still keep the spare in place! Where is the next 'mini' rally? Seeing as the last mini rally was...

As long as it doesn't auto reset (like yours, nice thing to see it's tripped,) then a breaker would be good. Does it act more like a slow blow fuse though? 5 amp with normal diesel should be fine though. The WMO causes more work on that little pump, and can kill fuses if you don't use the right...

They are slow blow fuses, they are different then normal fuses. But yes, get a small pack of them and leave them in the glove box.

I would watch out Al! I already do get calls at all times! lol Right Josh? Scott? ;) Still, I can assist in a likewise manner. Heck, I have enough times already.

That is the correct fuse. The slow blow fuses also look different. Notice the coiled up part inside? You can test it by bypassing the fuse and see if the pump starts up. Or put a larger amp fuse in there to test. When running heavier fuel, it will often take a little more amperage to get the...

PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

Maybe it was just the fuel pump kicking the bucket the whole time, and not a leak? What is the pump doing now? Just not coming on? If that is it, check the fuse for it. If it was the older style 3 amp, change it out for a 4 or 5 amp fuse (MUST be a slow blow fuse.) If the pump is bad, and you...

I don't doubt it Josh. I knew it started smoking on the way down there as it started using fuel from that tank. And by the time I was moving it around for the director, I was puffing out some clouds of crap! I have burned some junk in here before, but it only smoke a little bit compared to this...

Ok guys, that gunk you put in the tank of my 818 was NOT atf! atf doesn't smoke like that. What else was in that stuff? I took the truck out yesterday to fill up, and I guess I was fully running on the stuff you guys dumped in there. I am fairly certain I was leaving a thicker cloud of smoke...

Nice little vid there Al! Feel like you got a workout walking that long line of vehicles? :) If something like that doesn't make people want to show up for next year, I am not sure what will!

Ends up that my brakes were sticking, and in those videos you can see the lights are on a lot! Not that I think it would have made THAT much difference. But it did make the sprague act weird. Still, it was fun, and we need to go back up there again.

I think he needs to change it to desert sand. After, ostriches stick their heads in the sand, so it would be appropriate after all!!!! Sucks to hear about someone running through you stuff though. Doors locks in your future?

I don't know Scott, you need to see Josh's lower passenger side fender! It was only that one hill, the others were fun, and didn't damage anything. It was definitely FUN, and definitely DUSTY! Well worth it though. Btw, I haven't checked yet, but my brakes were seriously sticking ON. And I...
