Well if I'm reading the note from the L.O. right. it says 23qt's in the crankcase. 1 qt shy of 6 gallons. then you ad another 4 qts (1 gallon) for the oil filters. Thats 6.75 gallons. your still 1 qt shy. How long after shut down did you check the dip stick? Did you change the filters too? Are...- KsM715

Sorry I miss read your post. It sounded to me that you put 6 gallons more than you were supposed to. Believe it or not I have personally seen non-mech. type people fill and engine up to the valve cover with oil because they couldnt see the oil yet when they were filling it up and just kept...- KsM715

37 inches from the end of the dip stick to the bottom side of the rubber stopper. (anyone got a bumper step for sale? jumping up onto the bumper is getting harder and harder every time :()- KsM715
