What about something more along the lines of this Supcat Couger? Added roll cage, nerf bars, skid plates and a re-worked bed to accommodate a lot of the necessary externally accessible storage on the ground from outside the bed. I'm kind of thinking a dropside bed with truck tool boxes mounted...
