Niferous, As I said in my previous post, you had a loose connection. Most likely the Negative cable going to the frame. One of the few wires left to carry the circuit to ground was the small one you see burned up. Replace that, Check all your grounds. Re-install your battery cables and you...
You have a loose connection. Clean everything up and put it all back together, making sure your connections are tight. If you did your PM's a little more often that wouldn't have happened.
