I have seen people comment that a "Turbo does not increase power, it was done for emissions only". Is it possible that a turbo could NOT increase power? Not relivant to a LDT/LDS conversation, but it doesnt make much sense to me.

Has anyone ever dyno'ed either of these engines? You can quote whatever you want for output. In auto engines, I have seen output off by a big percentage, both too low and too high. I would bet there is not as much difference and we are led to beleive. Or not... I just cant get my head around...

I have really enjoyed this thread. I learn from the differences. I am always amazed at the low HP and Lb/FT. And wished thay made more power. Having said that, It is a Multi-fuel engine. Its not a tractor-puller, or a drag racer. Given a choice between a 500 HP motor, or a motor that will...
