    I personally have seen one made at the end of 1986 (but was an 87 model year).

    Well they ended (that body style) in 1987. I BELIEVE CUCV's started in 1983. As for numbers i've never heard of the total number, but I have read that there were around 300 M1028A2's and A3's.
