I didn't want to get paint in the lock mechanism so instead of painting the lock cylinder I simply cut electircal tape to cover it. We will see how the tape holds up but it is easy to replace and...

    Just got a locking handle from SS member caliber1 and with just a little work with a file I can now lock my driver's door. Here are a few pictures of how the flat notches were just a little bigger than the original handle. Now I just need to paint it.
