    New whistler turbo?

    Head gasket has no correlation to turbo or engine version. Look at the engine data tag for engine model number. Engine number/version does not designate what turbo it has, had or should have had.

    Those pictures are of two different types of turbo. Look at the rusty/exhaust side. One gets narrow at the top of the housing near the mounting flange(C), one does not(D). Look at the third picture you posted. This would be simple if you would post a picture of your turbo.
