    The part in red is where ya screwed up. Kerosene, 99% of it anyway, has the red dye marking it for off road use. Same stuff they use to mark off road disel. Putting K1 in your tank is the same as dumping off road diesel in it.

    The dye used in off road fuel is specific, and that is what the DMV lab tests for. They started that after folks contested charges in court claiming they were adding ATF for lubricity. Unless the test showed the specific off road fuel dye, no charges.
