    Not sure I follow you. See picture... it is item #9, that piece doesn't seem to just pop off. The two tubes where the plastic fittings go in are split and also separating from the body of the adapter.

    Ever find the adapter? Mine is also dry rotted and I cant cross refrence the part number and find one on the web.
