    ? Not quite... 30amp=3000W ONLY if the voltage is exactly 100v; this isn't a standard voltage for anything... Power(watts)=I(current) x V(Voltage) or for an AC system: Power(watts)=I(current) x V(Voltage) x Power Factor What you are describing is a 12v to 120v inverter...something totally...
