    M809 series inner axel seal leaking? - I think...

    That looks to me to be a torn axle boot. However, an easy check to see if the inner axle seal is leaking is to remove one of the bolts that hold the front shield on. If there is any oil leaking from the seal it collects in the bottom of the steering knuckle and will pour out of the hole.
