if you want to keep your composite light but upgrade to LEDs saturn surlpus has the kit for you. under lights and reflectors "28V Composit Light LED Upgrade Kit " keep it looking old school but be high tech. check it out before you buy it just incase i am wrong, again. i just replace the whole...
i will try to find the bulb # for the ones i used in the cab. i used the same LED bulb in everything in the cab, even though there were several different regular bulbs. as for the tail lights and stop lights i replaced the whole light with an LED light. if you search the web for LED and the...

from time to time you can get a good deal on the LED rear tail lights and LED front turn signals on there also. i have seen the tan tail lights for $25.00 each last year and black turn signals for $75.00 in the past few months (i bought 4).
it is a direct replacement, but, make sure you get the 24 volt stuff. 2 of my decues have LED Headlights, 2 have LED Front turn signals, all 3 have Rear LED Tailllights. my M109a3 has all the interior lights LED and the License Plate Light is LED. when i take the dash panel from the first page...
i am making one change to the dash. i am painting the back of the gauge panel rustolium glossy white and using a panel with an extra instrument light. the 3 in the middle will be for the gauge lights and the other 2 will be high beam and low air pressure.
i also have another upgrade planned...
i have been collecting parts for over 3 years and i am just getting time to put it together. i added the winch that i got a piece at a time, but, you can buy it as a kit. i think clint has some at his place, i can;t remember his screen name (i will try to find it). i am working on installing...
thanks. i will be going by there today and i will try to remember to get a picture. i may be able to find one that looks like mine online.
Update: this is the type of control unit i have. when i bought my M109a3 i could not get the flashers to work so i changed it out and that did not work. so...
over the cab i think it would be to tall over the box and you would not be able to see within 50' of the truck. but good question i did think about it.
the box will be going LED also, i just have not looked that far ahead. there are 24 volt LED's and 110 Volt LED's. i have some more tricks for the outside that still need to be completed before the inside. one is the M66 ring i am working on now. one is the fording kit. and one is totally...
i just went with the white ones so i could use them any where and i already had the covers like i wanted. i am putting LED head lights on one of my M35a2's saturday morning. i liked them so much. that will be all the money i spend on LED's for a while.
Yea :jumpin:
Ok, found my loose wire, and the one on the truck. now my M109a3 is 100% LED, until i start the work in the back of the box. those lights are not working right now. one step at a time.
PS. do you have any idea how hard it is to catch flashs on a cell phone camera when...
well got the LED front turn signals mostly installed. everything was going great until, wait for it, the passenger side one would not blink, the very last light go figure. the blackouts work fine but no flasher or turn signal on the right side front, back works fine. i tried 2 different lights...
the LED blackout light i bought on Ebay and i had to order two and it was pricey.
the dash bulbs the is 1 in the turn signal twitch, 1 hight beam, 2 to light the gauges, 1 in the transfer case air switch and if you have a low air warning light then one more.
5 or 6 will work but i order a...
the back of my dash gauge cluster is the same color as the front. if i remove it again i will paint the back white or something shinny. i also am using see through covers on the dash to have a little cab light, not for a work light but just to see if i have to grab something. the covered covers...
