    Glad to hear the damage was as minimal as it was. With all that iron in the pan I thought it was toast. Anyway there are probably many good parts suppliers out there. Clark truck set me up with sleeves and rings last winter when I rebuilt my dumptruck engine.

    Subscribed. My bet is that there will be collateral damage to the block or crank, rendering an engine that encounters that failure useless. Sucks to see that happen. You probably know that if you can find a good running takeout, that is most likely the most economical way to repair your truck...
