    On the deuce, there is NO NEED for a bushing because of the TWO bushings in the spindle, ONLY the 5ts need a bushing because there is only ONE bushing in the spindle and it is at the rear of the spindle, the cap supports the front of the axle.

    I believe the deuce hub has TWO bushing to support the outer axle, the 5ts have only ONE bushing, and that is on the knuckle end of the hub,, the 5t hub cap will need something there to support the outer end of the axle

    I would because the 5t hub ONLY has ONE bushing and that is at the knuckle end of the hub, the outer shaft is heavy so that would be a lot of weight bouncing around. AS far as the bushing goes, I would have a hardened metal insert made instead of bronze, on the out side of the end, I would drill...

    The only this would work on a 54/809 5t is to install the MWO thats cuts the air to the trans shift valves and the sprag shift, there by putting the sprag in neutral

    JWALLER, then the SECOND time almost ran over BFR when I realized what the PROBLEM was and turned the air on and suddenly had traction when throttle was applied as he was backing up :roll:

    The desplined hub caps idea has been around for a long time, It just seems NEW to the newer guys, I know someone who got stuck on a wet speed bump because the front and front rear had the desplined hub caps
