Thank you very much for your help klmartin62. I will try to order one this week and test it when I get the kit. I'll let you know what happens. Once agin thank you!
I finally got the new hydraulic head installed and fired it up today hoping for a smooth running engine but it still isn't righ. I have no idea what to check for or to do to it now. What do yall think?
So I cracked the #3 fuel injector line last week and received a new one today and installed it. I bled the fuel system and it seems like injector #6 is barely getting any fuel. I took of the line and blew through it and I can feel air coming out of it. So is my injection pump whacked out? And...
So bleeding the filters will hopefully get her running back on all cylinders?
And 197thhhc I removed the old air filter to let it dry out. I havn't installed it on the truck because I have had to remove the turbo a few times sinve I got it put on.
Alright yall so today I installed all new injectors into the Deuce and #3 and #6 aren't getting any fuel. When I removed the old ones a couple of days ago they were getting fuel. All of them were. Anyone know what the deal is?:(
I think found the culprit this evening. I drained about a pint of fuel out of the primary filter and it was clean as a whistle. No water at all. So I started to think to myself..I wonder if one of the injector tips is cracked? Well I started to crack each injector time one at a time and it...
My truck does have the multi-fuel engine. I was not aware that you could still run different fuels with the FDC removed. Good thing I saved the oil I drained earlier last week! And I have been planning on installing a pyrometer pre turbo. I have one on my dd pre turbo and I like it better there...
Well I wish I could run WMO but apparently when the truck was decommissioned they took off the part to were you could run alternate fuels. It sucks:x I Have all my axles fitted with extended vent lines up to underneath the hood. I know for a fact that my front axle is water tight. I just...
No I haven't checked it. I guess I went brain dead when I was trying to think what to do next. I'll do it first thing when I get home.
And porkysplace I do have the -10 and other manuals. Got them when I bought the truck. I have read through some of it but haven't finished it. I need to get on...
Oh and also there was what looked like to be water oozing out between the exhaust and the turbo. It didn't feel like oil..dried up quick. In the second video you can kinda see it barely oozing but earlier not in any of the videos it was oozing pretty darn good.
