    It wont be slow per-say, actually you'll gain a little top speed but it will take along time to get to top speed and the instant you hit an incline you'll know it. If 11's are 43" and you go to 53's then thats like taking a jeep on stock tires and going straight to 37's without re-gearing...

    No, the 5tons run just like deuces. You can get tractors, cargo beds, wreckers, and box trucks. a 5ton can run the big 53's (16.00x20) 6x6 stock but that will kill your power. The multifuel 5tons come with 11.00x20 tires stock. You wont see any multifuel 5tons coming out of Gov. surplus on...
