I dunno, that damage looks to be from those cover plates getting hooked on something external. I see the outward dimple from the shaft end, but still the lower lip of the plate is pooched out like it got snagged on something. Rick

I don't know who sold you the truck but if they said they are selling you a fully functioning rig, then I'd go with that until you learn otherwise. So, how's the rest of your new rig? Rick
