slide ferrell on cable,use a vice grip to hold the cable , spread the end, cut the fiber core, start the star wedge, insert wedge and cable in socket, tighten down ferrell (put bar though socket with socket on ground, use BIG wrench to tighten ferrell) If I can do a 5/8", I know you can do a 1/2"
