    real new to diesels motor question

    Not sure on diesel but I imagine it would be the same, I've been told to run a quart or two of ATF in the oil. The high detergent ATF is supposed to clean things up nicely. Ran it in my Durango and had no ill effects. This is on a every so often, rare kind of basis, for only a couple thousand...
