    the front IS geared faster, when the rears spin, they are turning FASTER then the fronts because the front has slowed down and the sprag grabs.

    The rear is 1 It is 1.07 to 1, front to rear, the transfer internals have the front going faster then the rears that is why they are called over running clutchs (sprag)
