Iron clad works, it just needs to be a legitimate issue, and you must have realistic expectations if you do end up using it. You cant expect to get 5k for a new motor when you only spent 7.5k on the truck at auction.

I did do a little sanding but not much. I didn't want to disturb the old CARC paint a lot, that's some nasty stuff. And it was holding good and makes for a good primer. Remember that these are not smooth paint jobs, they're supposed to be a little textured looking.

Thank you! I don't think my skills are all that great. I just try to make it look correct to an extent. I'm not afraid to paint these vehicles but clearcoats are completely different story...
