    You need to clean the tank, the hardest part is just removing the straps soak them a few days with Pb blaster or something similar. TRy to make sure you tank is as clase to empty as possible. Also I know everyone has a opinion but that inline filter is not recomended for a diesel aplication...

    Hopefully its just a fuel supply issue with that line, and fixing it will restore your power and drivability. A kinked line would cause all the problems you are having, and putting a manual temp gauge is a great addition. good luck

    I really think to be able to truely diagnose your problem you need to start with the gunk and rtv your sucking up, find that area, and fix it. If your still having white smoke at WOT, then I would ensure your aif filter is clean and unobstructed, then check to make sure the engine is reaching...

    There are a number of things that can cause white smoke(unburnt fuel) – if it persists after the engine has warmed up. It can be as a result of a faulty injector, timing problems (normal cause), low engine compression, and/or a faulty fuel pump. Air in the fuel system can also cause this...

    if your getting rtv in the fuel filter there has to be some type of repair in the fuel system before the filter or your supplier has some nasty fuel. Down on power could be the rtv still plugging the lines, before the filter, or if some how the rtv ended up in tank from supplier the pickup...
