    Guys, Thanks for the replys to my questions. I'm going for it with a Cobra 29 and one spare MILSPEC antenna I have out of my pile of goodies. Listen for me. I'll be ready for the NC rally. See you, and hear you there.

    I see everyone says mount in the middle of the cab. But what about a HMMWV? Its aluminum body won't reflect the signal as well, will it? Any ideas on a HMMWV mounting place? Just need 7-10 mile range.
