    I'd keep it 24V until you have problems with it. Keep the batteries maintained and you should be trouble free for years. Maybe install a Solargizer.

    How long are you holding the start switch in the start position after it fires up? You're supposed to, according to the TM, hold the switch in the start position until it fires continously.

    Those straps are sewn on the inside of the roof of the cover to attach the cover to the bows. Theres at least four, maybe six or eight. Refer to the illustration on page D-8 in TM 5-6115-630-14P. I'll post some photos later. I think you're correct about the slide hammer. I haven't pulled mine...

    Don't know what the first three are but the straps came off of the genset tarp/cover.

    Good catch! I got the ground rods, the slide hammer and the fuel spouts in mine also! The bow staves might be for shipping. Look in the TM 5-6115-630-14P for the PU751M, page 4-2.

    Yes, Kevin is great for helping you out. He'll usually fetch them from the yard and load them. He's got a hi-lo and a front end loader.
