    thanks for the reply. 'have had to halt work on the M 813 brakes for awhile . waiting for parts to replace water pump and on arrival will put on new power steering pump; new radiator;new water pump then start the truck to see where I am with the brakes. I have cleaned the entire brake system...

    I have just read all of the above comments. I have the same problem with empty master cylinder and no sign of fluid leak. just filled the m/cyl and activated the brake pedal by hand with reservoir cap off. After the air bubbles subsided the fluid in the m/cyl turned dark gray and feels abit...
