    Cooking oil as coolant?

    Once it’s under pressure it’ll raise plus the engines never gonna get above 300 and you cook with oil at 350 and it’s fine.

    Has anyone ever heard of using cooking oil as coolant in the radiator? An old veteran friend of mine said they used to do it in the field and it worked fine even in the cold and kept the water pump and the block from rusting over time.
