There is a BIG difference in stopping a 543 compared to a air brake truck on 16.00s, even 16.00s on a air brake truck that did uses them as stock will cause longer stopping distance.
I made spade mounts on top of each side bed rail, so the spades can be accessed from the ground, it is a pain in the a$$ to climb up and down then climb over other stuff to access then return the spades that are mounted on the boom. It is EAISER, FASTER AND SAFER to access as much wrecker gear...
i plan to take the 819, I think PB is bring the 818, and BFR is bring his crane deuce, would be nice if we had a few more wreckers so there wasnt any waiting for the loadind/unloading, dont think there will be a shortage of lifting equipment this year
