I would guess the FIX WAS IN from the get go, a SCRAPER had already GREASED the rails or arranged to if won the bid, since more the one bidder was bidding, I would have to guess more then one ADVANCE deal was made. Who ever won those cars WILL get them MOVED, get ALL the permits and ANYTHING...
If SCRAP, why not the WHOLE COMPLET truck (a lot more steel), not just the FPU, It seems that it is the GOV. who for some reason is the one ONLY calling back the FPU., though not saying the FPU won't end up as scrap for the same "reasons" as the 151 and the Humvee.
Strange, you BOUGHT a COMPLET truck as ONE LOT, they only want 1/2 back, so how do they change the ONE lot now into TWO lots, I would think that if the front unit is wanted back and being you have a COMPLET truck, they get the rear unit back as well along with a FULL refund, not letting you...
There is one on a certain auction site (one of the units I loaded), wonder if it to will be called back, that could cause some SERIOUS trouble for the seller
Instead of looking in the m48 tms for this trailer tm, try looking in the FOLDING RIBBON BRIDGE tms. because the new ALL hyd. trailer is a ribbon bridge transport, It is designed to self-load the bridge erection boat (has its own cradle), the ramp section and mid sections.
I at first thought...
We found that getting the gd.8 flang bolts was going to be a chore (not warehouse stocked for over night delivery) and VERY expensive, hence the washer
Since this is such a special situation due to ALL the problems, GL. has been working with us on the 10 day gone or default rule. This is one of the FEW times that GL. has done this for a auction.
Juff, Frustrating is not the word, it is more like !#$)(&^%$#%^, the GL reps are working out of...
One more thing, Honeywell has the finial say in loading, if they have a problem with the transport to be loaded (to high, ect.) loading WILL not happen, and there is nothing GL. can do about it.
Jeff, the base is Marine owned, with Honeywell running the vehicle side and more, it seems that GL is at the BOTTOM of the list, not even a GL. office, if Honeywell is using the HONEYWELL yard ramps that we use to load out, then no load out, I guess it is easier to say NO LOADOUT then it is to...
True for junk, not true for NON junk, now this brings up a NEW problem, what WE sometimes consider a VALUEABL ASSET, our wives looks at it at best as JUNK, at worst a blight on humanity, so I guess the FL. title law DEPENDS on WHO is selling it.
Fl. has a law that you can not sell a vehicle without a title, GL is considered a USED vehicle dealer in FL., GL lost a court case brought by FL. a few years ago, it is amazing that MORE states with the " no sale without title laws" have not jumped on GL. because they are loosing money by GL not...
To time the drive, the front u-joint caps that are attached to the shaft needs to match the clocking of the u-joint caps that are attached to the MATING FLANG. After the mating flanges are connected, the front D/S becomes a TWO u-joint D/S, and like any two u-joint D/S need to be in time.
