    I have not checked the airflow diagram, but I'd guess the pressure regulation is a simplistic small orifice at the valve. Bottle has over-protection via a porous disc.

    When you had water in the jug it was probably emptier. With solvent in the jug, I'm guessing it was more full and the pressure could rise much quicker and faster.

    Mine does the same thing as pictured. Blows the ring off the top. I'd like to retain the original system vs go to a pump, but it would be really nice if it could be made to hold and use a 1 gallon washer fluid bottle directly. No filling, just change it out. The top flies off because of the...
