Took the 5-ton down there this morning for a few hours, going to go back tomorrow. My buddy rode with me and scored a cargo tarp for a deuce for $35!

That's a bummer! I almost swung by there today, got busy, but I'm going to swing by in my 5 ton Wednesday and maybe Thursday.

I was planning in renting some equipment when I get to installing this crane on my m931a1. Might have to talk to one of you wrecker owners and see if we can work out a deal!

I might be able to hold onto it for a bit. Depending on the weight my tractor may lift it. No forklift but I do have a crane of a 1084 mtv, problem is its not installed on my truck yet! Future project that I'll post when I finally get to do it.

I'll definitely stop by! Looking forward to meeting some of you. I'll let my friend know too, he has a deuce, maybe we can 2 truck convoy down there. Oh, and as for the history, I regularly volunteer at knight's foundry in Sutter creek, it's a water powered foundry and machine shop...

Now THAT is cool! It's 8 miles from my house! I have volunteered at the steam powered saw mill there before.
